The point and click movement seems to freeze up at times. Rotating the camera is done with the arrow keys rather than the right mouse button, which takes getting used to. If you can avoid getting stuck inside fences and other objects, you'll eventually make your way outside town and into the world map. The world map is one of Corum's better features. Like many old school RPGs, Corum features a world map where each area is portrayed as a large icon. Upon walking near these icons players can enter the area they represent. The newbie dungeon is a dull maze of identical barren areas. Depending on class choice, fighting the beginner monsters will either be simple or a headache. For those who have the patience to grind it out, Corum Online offers an interesting PvP system. Many of the higher level dungeons can be controlled by player clans and whichever clan controls an area will receive resources as a reward. Unfortunately, almost all dungeon areas are poorly designed and the pacing in Corum never improves. The slow paced gameplay, dull dungeon designs and flawed interface make Corum Online a difficult choice for most gamers.
